Who Is The Typical
Person We Help?
92% of all of our
clients come from
two main groups.
Single mothers
with children, and
our fastest
growing group,
senior citizens,
are the most in
need. The
growing cost of
health care for
survival and the
rise in the price
of necessities for
living have caused
many people to
struggle with
providing everyday
needs. Our
mission is to
provide these
people with food.
We also have many
people who come to
us that have
situational needs,
such as their
source of income
has been removed
due to job,
health, and family
issues, and
unfortunately, due
to loss of a loved
one. We say
we provide them
with food, but we
also provide them
with the knowledge
that God loves
them.
We also provide
organizations with
meals for people
who are in need of
food for life too!
We work with the
Cancer Society,
the Church of God
Home for Children
Orphanage,
Lutheran Hospice,
and FTC Drug
Rehabilitation
Center. Not
only do we provide
meals but we
provide
specialized diets
for patients in
need of certain
foods for health
reasons.
We are making a
difference for the
people that we
help, but hunger
is no small issue.
The good news is
that hunger in
America is
declining, the bad
news is that
hunger has
increased in South
Carolina by 16.5%
over the entire
population, and
the neediest
counties are in
the Upstate.
God has blessed us
to be able to help
everyone, every
time they have
asked! We
are changing
someone's world, a
weeks worth of
food at a time!
